VETTE ZINGER!

Old style box above, later issue below. This is the most common Zinger, I have seen zillions of these on ebay. It's a very neat kit though, the early 70's Vette is a true classic and a great rod subject!

Update 05-12-10: This is my 3rd Zinger build in the last month, the first two took about a week each but this one took longer, mainly because the parts fit was a real struggle on it. I tried a darker color scheme on the engine this time to see how it would look, it's all done in Testors buffable metalizers along with the undercarriage. Paint is HOK Cobalt Blue over Orion Silver base coats with several coats of clear, color-sanded between coats. The kit comes with an interior (unlike most of the Zingers) but it did not come with window glass, so I added a rear window and windshield. There's a little interior detailing visible in the pics- the steering wheel is detailed, gauges & knobs are painted and a straight pin shifter is in there as well. Decals were created for the tire letters, blower belt logo, emblems, side marker lights, taillights and front/ rear license plates.
