Modeler's Club cartoon #2

This is a whopper of a file so will take a while to download if you have a slow connection. It is both parts of a 2 part cartoon series that was published on the back cover of the Modeler's Club newsletter (part 1 is on the left, part 2 on the right). These cartoon strips ran in successive issues of the newsletter.

Part 1 depicts the Baron Von Rot meeting his glorious Funfdecker Fokker for the 1st time. Love at 1st sight!! What about his dachsund Fritz, could this be a clever ploy to foil the Baron?

Part 2 shows Fritz is none other than...Snoopy! Snoopy fires up his Slopwith Pup House to take on the Baron in the skies over Germany. Alas, Snoopy is no match for the fancy new Funfdecker Fokker and goes down in a blaze of glory as also depicted on the box art for the Baron kit! But wait, who is that hitler youth pinning the Maltese Falk-bone on the war hero?
